DAY 1  - GUWAHATI TO NAMERI/BHALUKPONG

Upon arrival at Guwahati airport, you will be welcomed by our representative. If you arrive in the first half of the day, a direct transfer to Nameri/Bhalukpong (approximately 5 hours) will be arranged. The journey includes crossing the impressive Bhumuraguri bridge, spanning 3,015 meters over the Brahmaputra river. Accommodation for the night will be provided at eco camps in Nameri (bamboo huts) or Bhalukpong guest house. Nameri National Park, situated at the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border, boasts rich biodiversity and is cradled by the Jia Bharali river. Experience an overnight stay in Bamboo cottages and have the option to partake in a white-water rafting cum birding tour (grade 1). Explore the natural beauty further with an optional guided walk for birding and a visit to the pygmy hog center.

DAY 2 NAMERI/BHALUKPONG TO DIRANG

Enjoy breakfast, then opt for a morning rafting tour. Drive to Dirang (5-6 hrs) via Tipi Orchid Center, Sessa Orchid Sanctuary, and Bomdila. Explore Dirang Dzong and Sangti Valley upon arrival. Overnight at Dirang hotel/homestay/Sangti Valley luxury camps. Sangti Valley: At around 7 KM from Dirang town, this valley is inhabited by the Mahayana Buddhist Monpa tribe. The main attractions are the unmatched hospitality of the friendly Monpas, rivers, migratory birds, kiwi and apple orchards and mountain villages. A guided tour can allow you to experience the valley like a local.

DAY 3 DIRANG TO TAWANG

Begin the day with an early breakfast. Embark on a village walk or a brief 2-hour hike to a local farm. Continue the journey to Tawang (approximately 5-6 hours) via the scenic Sela Pass, with a stop at the breathtaking Sela Lake located at an altitude of 13,476 ft. Visit the Jaswantgarh War Memorial on the way. Enroute to Tawang, make a stop to admire the Nuranong waterfall, also known as Jung waterfall. Upon arrival in Tawang, take some time for evening leisure or explore the local market and restaurants. Overnight stay at a Tawang hotel or guesthouse.

DAY 4 TAWANG

Start the day with breakfast Explore Tawang's local attractions, including the Tawang Monastery (India's largest) Visit Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama, and Ani Gompa Enjoy a late lunch and refreshments Conclude the day with a visit to Tawang War Memorial Evening free for leisure Overnight stay at Tawang Hotel or guesthouse

DAY 5 TAWANG

Begin the day with breakfast Embark on an excursion to Bumla Pass and Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake) Return to Tawang Hotel after the excursion Note: Outside vehicles are restricted for this trip Local vehicles (Sumo/Bolero/Xylo) are provided at an additional cost (Rs. 5500-6500) along with permits The excursion is contingent upon approval from the local administration and the Indian army

DAY 6 TAWANG TO BOMDILA

Begin your return journey to Bomdila after breakfast, taking approximately 6-7 hours. Explore the Bomdila Monastery along the way. Stay overnight at the guest house or hotel.

DAY 7 BOMDILA TO GUWAHATI DROP

After breakfast, proceed with an approximately 8-hour transfer from Bomdila to Guwahati via Shergaon. This journey is designed to connect you to your evening flight or train. The tour concludes at this point.

INCLUSIONS

Flight Tickets Accommodation: 6 Nights on a Double/Triple sharing basis. There will be extra bed or extra mattresses in the triple-sharing room. Meals: MAP (6 Breakfasts+Dinner).
