THE VILLA  beautifully restored, 112-year-old Goan-Portuguese home, inspired by the traditional style and contemporary. This heritage home takes you back in time while offering you all the luxuries of the modern world. Villa Vaayu in Olaulim, nestled in between the villages of Pomburpa and Aldona, is a four-bedroom homestay drawing inspiration from the Portuguese architecture and provides modern amenities. ‘Vaayu’, previously known as ‘Casa Andecar’ has been a home to ‘The Pintos’ of Olaulim or popularly known as ‘The Andecars’ (Andecar is dervided from ‘anddo’ which means pot in English language because the family happened to find a ‘pot full of gold’) and today it opens its doors to the those who would like to spend quality time with family and friends.

THE LIVING This charming 4-bedroom villa has been meticulously to suit the taste of the discerning traveler. The interiors feel timeless, combining an old-world allure with modern amenities. It has high ceilings, tastefully furnished air-conditioned en-suites, with spacious washrooms welcoming abundant natural light, lots of open spaces and gardens adorned with flowers and trees, delivering the perfect relaxing and ‘Susegad’ Goan vibe.

This Villa has a large pool, with a lot of open spaces, where you can relax, enjoy outdoor barbecues under the chickoo tree or have evening tea in the traditional gazebo. The spacious living room, with a 55inch television, is a favorite spot to spend time together. You could also start the evening by the pool, fixing a drink before heading into the welcoming dining room, which opens out into a covered traditional-styled stoned courtyard surrounded by lush greenery.

The poolside has comfortable seating for sunny afternoons. There is Wi-Fi throughout the villa which is perfect for those who want to work from home, blue tooth speakers, plus a private parking area near the entrance for your cars if required.

HOUSE RULES 

 All toiletries will be provided on request. 

 Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. Kindly store your valuables in cupboards available in the rooms. Management will not be responsible for any kind of theft.

  Lost and found items are held for 14 days while we attempt to contact the guest. If guest contact information is incorrect or cell phone mailbox is full and we are unable to contact the guest during the 14-day holding period, the unclaimed item(s) are thrown away, given to local organisations, or disposed of as deemed fit by the management. 

 Guests, who are not checked-in or registered as guests of Villa Vaayu are not allowed to sleep or stay overnight in the villa. 

 Guests are responsible for his/her personal belongings and valuables. We request you to comply with the rules and regulations to make your stay in our villa comfortable. 

 Smoking is prohibited in the villa. We recommend you smoke outdoors/ around the pool area. While smoking, kindly use the ashtray to dispose of cigarette buds, and take all necessary precautions to prevent a fire. 

 Our staff would be happy to purchase any additional items that guests may need. 

 Breakfast is complimentary. 

 Loud music will not be allowed post 10 pm. 

 Breakfast timing is between 8:30 am to 10:30 am. In case of special requests, Guests are requested to place their orders at least 24 hours in advance. 

 Check-in time will be 02:00 pm on the arrival date and check-out time will be 11.00 am on the departure date. Requests for early check-in or late check-out would be subject to availability and at the discretion of Villa Vaayu, with additional charges.
